Farmhouse Halloween

I decorated my dining room for Halloween.  The room has an allover farmhouse feel so that, with a subtle Halloween twist is how I decorated it.

It has a black and white color scheme with the green apple color for an accent.  I got the green apple color from these napkins.  I love the mod pattern.

The book page leaves are so versatile.  I can find a lot of uses for them as a placecard, on a stark tree branch, or on a wreath.

An old rake makes a great hanger for my wreath.

The centerpiece is just a milk glass pedestal bowl full of green apples.  Making things simple and easy this year but, I still have a fantasy table yet to come....you know how I like Halloween!

I love the simplicity of your Halloween table--not overly done--just right! My favorite is the spiders! So clever!

Just DARLING. LOVE THE LEAF motif. How did you have the template for the leaf? Have you already mentioned this? I would love to try this. Also, I like how your hutch is useful and tidy and pretty. I try to keep our baker's racks the same way.

Mary Ann,
I used a leaf from a children's coloring page and just cut out the oak leaves from that.

What a wonderful Autumn post. I love the simplicity of your design. The black and white gingham has such a fresh, classic look. I have an antique farm table that is begging for me to make a runner...and, yours is certainly my inspiration.
Warm autumn wishes,

I love it. I am not a tablescaper so I basically just like tablescapes that look as if I could actually EAT there and yours is one of them :) Your entire room is beautiful ....

Even though we don't observe Halloween, I can find plenty to love in this beautiful room! The pewter, the bittersweet, the checked runner, the pie safe, the ironstone, the pumpkins, the Indian corn, the lantern, the farmhouse table...all are making me swoon! =D

I love the simplicity and elegance of this farmhouse table, Sherry. Whites are always a favorite of mine and the addition of your book page place cards is just too charming. Next dinner party, I think I'll be cutting out some sort of a design. :-)

Sherry, your farmhouse decor looks like you opened a door and entered another era. With the puter goblets and the candles, the room has a lovely glow. Simple and very inviting. A pleasant table to sit awhile and visit.
